MINOR LODGE

The Minor Lodges are the heart of our organization, each known as "the city" and led by a Worthy Primo. Each lodge has its own unique character, often named in honor of a respected member, a prominent figure in the community, or an association with a particular industry. For example, some lodges were formed by actors and entertainers, while others were connected to the legal profession or the armed forces.

Absent Brothers Toast

Spirit of truth, before we homeward wend

On thee we call

Assist us each to succor and defend

Good brethren all

From Cares and Sorrows, Absent Brethren Free

Where'er they roam, in air, on land or sea

Let thy kind spirit hover round them now

And so enthrall

That they will keep, their obligation vow

So say we all

And when on us, the ivy leaves descend

Grant we may join, thy link, our brothers friend.
